SING

We offer group Musical Theatre classes and/or private tutorials for those wanting to discover their inner X-Factor!

Develop singing skills, expand your repertoire, learn how to tackle harmonies, sing your favourite musical theatre songs and increase your range.

WTS will also give you everything you need to hold your own and shine at professional auditions.
DANCE
WHY WALK WHEN YOU CAN DANCE?

WTS offers a diverse programme of dance classes including Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance, Street Dance and Tap for all ages and all levels.

Our Primary Programme, designed for children age 5-8, develops motor skills, eye-hand co-ordination, imagination, musicality, creativity and physical control, in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our Pre-Teens Programme and Teens Programme aimed at learners 8-18, offers two streams. One stream caters for those with vocational interests and one is designed for those wishing to continue on a primarily recreational basis.

The Vocational Stream continues to develop dance skills and technique in all genres through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London, including all grades through to advanced levels. This programme is a focused course that requires a greater level of commitment as it includes additional weekday classes as well as Saturdays. The Vocational programme culminates in accreditation through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.

The Recreational Stream continues to build the skills to condition the physical body for all styles of dance in a fun and expressive creative space.

Learners may change streams at any point subject to consultation.

Our acting classes help to develop confidence, social skills and creativity, all whilst having fun and making new friends who share your passion for performing.

Private tutorials are also available for those interested in doing graded examinations through Trinity College, London.
APPLICATIONS
Entry into the WTS Junior School is done through an individual assessment. The assessment determines at which level the learner enters the programme and considers which stream is most appropriate. The learner will then be presented with a personalised package suitable to their specific need and ability.

Fees are determined in relation to the stream and level at which the learner begins.

Fees range from R 3305 to R 7140 per term for 2024.

Optional individual tutorials are available at an extra charge.

Individual assessments are held most Saturdays at 2pm

There is a once off assessment fee of R250 payable on the day of the assessment
