Waterfront Theatre School - Shows and Performances & Casting Agency

The College produces a major show annually involving the entire school, which is held in the Lane Theatre. This is usually an original production involving singing, dancing and acting to showcase the skills of the student. In addition, smaller productions are regularly performed to show the progress of students in the various genres. Demonstration of the examination work is held prior to the examinations for parents and friends to view the syllabus class work.

Because we are a vocational college, we have ties with all major theatre, film and television managements. We send our students, if suitable, for castings for specific roles. Students are coached prior to the audition to ensure the best possible success rate. Therefore we require up to date CV’s and photographs on C D which can be emailed. We cannot represent any child already signed with another agent, unless the genre in question is not represented by that agent. The college negotiates the contract and deducts commission and tax according to the contract and the law of the country. Please note that all children have to have an individual tax number. Contact the office for further information.

Admission is by individual assessment and the timetable is based on each child’s individual evaluation in each genre. Classes do not necessarily pertain to the age of the child, but also to the level of previous experience, physical development and training. Assessments are usually held on a Saturday afternoon. Please contact the administrator for details.
